Pirkei Avot - Three Things
Pirkei Avot ~ widely translated as Ethics of Our Fathers ~ is part of the Mishnah and is a compilation of rabbinic teachings and maxims which provide guidelines for living an ethical life and providing a moral compass based on Jewish tradition and rabbinic interpretation of the Torah. Three Things from Pirkei Avot 1:2 reads, "The world stands on three things ~ on Torah, on worship (service to God; prayer), and on deeds of loving kindness.
