Son's Blessing
This plate has the Blessing for Sons at its center followed by one of the most famous prayers in Judaism, the Priestly Blessing, a benediction of protection and support traditionally chanted by the Cohanim, the ancestral priests of the Jewish people, as a prayer for every individual's welfare. Jewish Parents enjoy the custom of blessing their children on Friday nights as Shabbat begins. The prayer recited for sons is that they should be like Ephraim and Menasheh; the first brothers in the bible who did not war with one another.
